I just saw this video on the tube and had to share it. It should give you an insight on how to use your voice correctly, your intonation and modulation and of course pausing.

Also notice what he’s wearing and why wearing the “black” brings everyone to focus on his face and hands.

Some valuable lesson to be learned here…

Your friend,
Alex

As a professional speaker and closer you will need to train your voice to resonate confidence while you’re speaking. If you speak too fast, too slow, too high pitched or don’t pause enough this will convey subtitle traits about your message.

This will stop you from gaining rapport and will impact how your message is received by the audience.

Your voice plays an important role from building a connection with a seminar promoter, business calls, meetings, conferences and of course your presentation.

Use these tips to train your vocals to achieve optimal resonance.

1. Start early. As soon as you wake up in the morning check yourself in the mirror. Notice where the air is displaced when you breathe, is it inflating your chest? Ideally it should be a DEEP breath that’ll inflate around your waist, not the chest area. You will need deep breathing when you speak. Are your shoulders rising when you breath, if they are don’t allow this to happen, make a conscious effort to stop this. It helps if you stand straight, allow your breathing to come in down low in your belly area and relax. I can’t stress that enough … relax.

Hey Folks,

If you have an online business that isn’t converting and making YOU MONEY then you should read this immediately. I’ll be there and so will some of Australia’s leading info marketers, web writers and speakers.

I’ll come back to this later …

Okay first I have to tell you a bit about Jesse Forrest, not only is he one of Australia’s leading copywriters but he is running an intensive training program in Sydney (November 21st 2009 Write This Down So You Don’t Forget).

He charges clients anywhere between $3,000 -$10,000 for a single sales letter and his clients have paid him these amounts! He’s worked with Alex Mandossian, Hans Jakobi, Dale Beaumont, Peter Sun and many more who have publicly endorsed Jesse and encourage many to take him up on his services. He’s that good and his writing sells faster than hot cakes.

Check it out here:

Sydney Web Copy Workshop

Now this seminar on November the 21st is going to be good … better than good actually its going to be out-of-this-world. This is something you don’t want to miss if you live in Australia and you have an online business or have been thinking of starting one. Now there is no catch to this … he’s running an intensive copywriting seminar in a few weeks from now and tickets are being snapped up like crazy as they’re so under priced. Tickets were going to be priced at $800 a head for the full day but he’s only charging $47 … this is crazy talk I know … but he’s one of those good ole’ crazy Australian Copywriters.

He’s running a one time only seminar in Sydney on Web Copy i.e How To Sell Via the web and it’s only $47 to attend for the ENTIRE day. No selling, no pitches just pure copywriting learning.

Check it out here:

See you there!

Eben Pagans Get Ignition Home Study Course Review

Posted on October 27th, 2009 by admin

Well Ebens done it again he’s just released a brand new home study course called’ ignition’. Ignition is aimed at helping start ups and beginners how to build an online internet business, he shows you step by step how to build a list of buyers, build products, sell your products and make money as an online marketer.get-ignition-eben

Now I’ve actually bought several products from Eben including his ‘Wake Up Productive’ course, his ‘Get Altitude’ course and his earlier dating products (was a different niche and his pen name was David Deangelo).

One of my close friends just sent me this info sheet on the Ignition Program. If you’re interested in it you should read it before investing in this.

Eben’s Ignition course is split up into THREE parts. The first part teaches you the basics on internet marketing and online businesses. The second part teaches you in a webinar format:

  • How to outsource your business to virtual assitants
  • Building and using membership site models and collect recurring income
  • Finding niche specifc markets
  • Using Social media such as Twitter, Google Groups, Face book,Youtube and more
  • Getting traffic the cheapest way
  • How to use webinars to build your business
  • Using Ebay and amazon to launch and sell your products
  • Much much more

Now as a reviewer you need to know this before you invest, Ignition is aimed at beginners in the online world. If you’re already an online marketer and making money then this CAN still help you, but there’s a good chance you know a lot of it already. You need to decide is it worth the investment considering you may know 80-90% of the content.

You should also know that most of Ebens programs are HUGE. They’re packed with large amounts of content and you should know that it will take awhile for you to devour it. Definitly worth it if you’re commited and take the time to watch/listen to it all.

When there are many other speakers competing against you then your best bet if you want to make sales is to be the last speaker at the event, that way you’ll be fresh on their mind and will remember your presentation over the others.

Enjoy the video,

SeenOnTVIn the art of persuasion there’s one technique that rules all and that is SOCIAL PROOF.

Fact is that some people would rather not think. They would rather others do the thinking for them and they live through the actions, lives and decisions of other people.

There’s a great book that addresses this very fact and that is The Psychology of Persuasion by Robert B. Cialdini. He refers to this technique as “Social Proof”.

We all do this to some degree and there are a lot of people out there who pay a great deal of attention to what everyone else is doing. So you need to start using snippets in your next presentation that alerts the audience that “others” are implementing your ideas, buying your products or taking any action you want them to take.

This will compel them to do the same.

What Happens If they DON’T Invest In Your System? Tell them!

If the audience don’t act on your offer or invest in your system have you considered creating fear about the other alternatives.

Don’t lie or make up facts to instill fear this is where you need to keep your integrity and character traits noble. But honestly reveal if they dont take action on your offer, “invest” in your system or any other action you require what would happen if they DON’T.

Fear of loss is more powerful than the desire to gain. People generally are more afraid if they have something to lose they will try to gain it back, this intention is more powerful than if they have something to gain from investing in your system.

For example … (Real Estate Seminar)

“If you invest today I can arrange affordable finance for you in no time, get a great interest rate arranged (plus other benefits) etc

speaker-coaching-lasvegasGet “Hands On Instruction for YOUR Speaking Business with ME in LAS VEGAS”

I’m currently touring the states attending and organizing several seminars and the events are going great.

I’ve noticed a BIG difference between Australian and American participation in seminars, over here in the USA the seminars tend to pull larger numbers of people (probably due to nearly 300 million people reside here compared to 20 million back home).

Private Coaching…?

Well …I’m heading to the launch tree seminar presented in Las Vegas on the 23rd of July, while there I’ll be conducting private coaching and consultations with select people who’ve already  contacted me prior and arranged a time and date and submitted payment already.

I’m only doing a few of the private consultations and it’s aimed at the more seasoned speaker who has their speaking abilities together and need a push to promoting seminars, building information products, contacting hosts and promoters and closing from the stage.

I only have a few times left on my schedule where I can fit in 3 more clients who need assistance with their speaking business.

To organize a consultation or find out more information email me promptly at alex@ speakertrainingvideos.com with the subject headline “Vegas Coaching”, it may be 24 hours before I get back to you due to travel and my appointments but you should receive a reply nonetheless.

These appointments will be short coaching sessions of around 2 hours, I will NOT be building pitches for you word for word as these will take more than two hours, however I can give you more hands on instruction with growing your speaking business, selling from the stage, building informational products and leveraging your time.

Email me for more information.

Warmly,

Alex

john-childers-speakingGetting the trust of an audience is one of the first mechanisms in public speaking that need to be built.

If the audience doesn’t trust you, they won’t listen to anything you’re saying; they also won’t buy anything you have to sell. So how do you build trust?

It’s really pretty simple. The first thing you need to convey is that you’re a likable person. You’re warm and friendly, you smile a lot, and you look them in the eye. Behave as if you have a friend that is introducing you to them for the first time.

The next step is finding a commonality with your audience. If you’re speaking to an audience that is family oriented, talk a bit about your family. If this is a business seminar, talk a little about some of your experiences with business.
